What is Regenerative Agriculture?

What is Regenerative Agriculture?

Regenerative agriculture strives to work with nature rather than against it. Regenerative agriculture is more than just being sustainable. It is about reversing degradation and building up the soil to make it healthier than its current state. Noble Research Institute

Wheat so hearty it could grow on Mars.

Wheat so hearty it could grow on Mars.

Well, that theory's yet to be tested... but because of regenerative principles, our wheat does thrive in Arizona's harshest desert conditions with less than a five inches of rainfall a year! And if you've experienced an Arizona summer, you know that's not far from Martian territory.

This is about more than resilient grain – it's about reimagining our food future. As climate challenges intensify and global freshwater becomes increasingly precious, conventional agriculture that depletes resources simply won't sustain us.

At Oatman Farms, we're growing solutions. Our desert-adapted regenerative organic certified wheat proves that regenerative agriculture can provide delicious food even in extreme conditions. Every bag of our stone-milled flour and heritage baking mix carries the resilience of the desert – and a blueprint for farming's future. Learn more about our impact below.
