Among all breads, sourdough is my favorite. However it is hard to make by myself, so I never tried to make it at home, and just get from store. I’m so glad to get this mix, which is exactly what I would expect. It is organic and whole grain. I like the texture and taste of sourdough bread made from all wheat flour, so this is just perfect. It has clear instructions. It takes time, but procedure is pretty straightforward, and most of time is just waiting, so I’d say it is simple to make. This is the first sourdough bread I’ve ever made. It turned out to be very successful, super tasty. Thanks to the bread mix, making it so easy to make sourdough bread at home.
So even though this is kind of misleading (as in sourdough requires a starter, but this is just add water); it's still delicious. I really enjoy how easy this is to make. You literally just add water and bake. I was able to get creative with a couple loaves and threw in fresh herbs and cheddar and made a delicious herb and cheddar sourdough. It bakes exactly as described and tastes fresh. It's $41 at the time of review for 4 bags which isn't terrible at all considering how easy it is to make. $10 a pack isn't a bad deal, especially since you can get creative. Overall, it's very tasty bread and tastes fresh. You could convince people easily that you made it with a sourdough starter. I can't be upset with it.
